Our Leadership

Jenni Campbell
Executive Director & Board Member

Compassion, communication, community—these three words capture LA Region Community Recovery Organization (LARCRO) Executive Director, Jenni Campbell.

Jenni oversees day to day operations at LARCRO, identifying and leveraging resources in the community for recovery efforts. Her main objectives are to develop the Woolsey Fire Recovery Plan and create a recovery plan blueprint for future disasters. Jenni also serves as LARCRO’s Secretary and is a Board member of the LA County VOAD/Emergency Network Los Angeles

Jenni’s role is both strategic and grassroots. She works closely with NVOAD partners coordinating recovery resources, but she can also often be found with her work clothes on assisting her neighbors and Woolsey Fire survivors.

Jenni’s role as Business Unit Liaison and Relationship Manager for Fleet Bank, WellPoint, and other businesses and organizations prepared her uniquely for her role as Executive Director of LARCRO where communication and relationship building are key components of the organization’s mission.

Dedication to conscientious public service was instilled in Jenni as a child growing up in a small, rural Northern California town. Jenni brought this dedication to nonprofit work and community organizing with her when she moved to Agoura in 2004.

Over the past fifteen years, Jenni has worked with Relay for Life of Agoura, Hospice of the Conejo, LV Fire Relief, Los Robles Hospital, Next Door, Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest & Folk Festival, Odyssey of the Mind, Poison Free Agoura, the Buy Nothing Project, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and many more community organizations. Her work has embedded her deeply into the community she loves, and she continues to build relationships with neighbors, business owners, and local professionals every day.

Tracing her profound respect for nature and wildlife to her childhood explorations of the unique landscape surrounding her small town, Jenni finds joyful renewal as an adult when she is outdoors gardening, hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, and assisting local wildlife rescue organizations.

Jenni’s goal in her work with LARCRO, as well as in her life, is to unite and empower our community with knowledge and compassion, especially in ways that benefit the environment and that build lasting relationships.
